Completely unusable

I have an iPhone 5 feeding audio to a macbook pro, and the delays are excessive. There is a full 17 second delay between when audio occurs and when it is transmitted into the mac. I cant think of a single use case when a delay that large would be tolerable.

There is also no way to exit the app besides force-quit: pressing the home button backgrounds it.
