Another bad review

Installed the PocketControl app on my Mac, and installed the PocketAudio (Microphone) app on my iPod touch. The apps automatically found each other and connected. Very slick.

Then I used Rogue Amoeba’s LineIn app to listen to the audio being streamed from the iPod - it was awful! Buzzy, choppy, and laggy. Playing with the audio quality options in the iPod app didn’t help. Compared to the built-in mic on my MacBook, PocketAudio is completely unusable.

I may try fooling with it more later. If I get better results, I’ll update this review. Meanwhile, if anyone has had good results, please let us know.
